The Lake Nona/Orlando site will feature several outstanding technology cores, and faculty will undertake discovery research in several fields, including launching a new center devoted to diabetes & obesity research.
We have an opportunity for a Research Associate II at our Institute. This position requires strong animal surgical skills working with small laboratory animals (mainly mice) and knowledge of the cardiovascular system. Individual will work in a surgical laboratory environment which may include an ultra-clean barrier facility with special attire and equipment requirements. Individual must wear protective equipment during some procedures and must incorporate standard sterile aseptic technique into mouse surgical protocols. The majority of everyday activities will be conducted in an animal operating room or on a lab bench.
